Door County in Northern Wisconsin is one of the premier vacation destinations in the Midwest. Door County is on the Lake Michigan Circle Tour

If you are following the Lake Michigan Circle Tour, the official route around Door County is as follows:
In order to enter the Door Peninsula, take STH-42 into Sturgeon Bay. After crossing the bridge over the bay, continue northwest on STH-42 and pass through Carlsville, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, and Ephraim. In the northern part of Door County, at Sister Bay, you will turn southeast on STH-57 and pass through Bailey’s Harbor and Jacksonport before returning back to STH-42 and traveling again through Sturgeon Bay, as you leave the Door County Peninsula.
