St. Joseph, Michigan, is the perfect destination for beach lovers. It has seven exquisite beaches, each with convenient amenities. Within St. Joseph’s Michigan beaches lie thousands of acres of state park land. Camping in that area is great because it includes both modern and rustic campsites, bathhouses, trails, dunes, playgrounds, and more.
Perhaps the most popular attraction in St. Joseph is the North Pier Lighthouse at Tiscornia Beach Park. Tiscornia Park is comprised of 16 acres along the Lake Michigan shoreline located at the northwest corner of the St. Joseph city limits. Park amenities include the North Pier Lighthouse and a walkway that is a popular spot for fishing and watching sunsets. The park is a family-friendly park with a sandy beach, a picnic pavilion, and restrooms. Leashed dogs are allowed on the sidewalk and pier only.
